Inspired by the fact that kids and adults alike go completely crazy for this, our events combine intense entertainment with STEM-based education. Players use standard RC and conventional video game controllers to flip, throw, and roll opponent robots into the arena pit.
Perfect for festivals, parties, or large gatherings, our Robot Rumbles let you step behind the glass and operate real machines. Matches are fully organized and refereed by a Flatline Robotics operator.
Mini Matches (Open Melee)
Free-for-all arena battles where chaos reigns supreme. These quick, 2-minute matches feature an operator-managed queue, allowing for unlimited participants. Ideal for ages 6 to 99.

Team Battles
Coordinated group combat relying on tactical team strategies. Work together with your squad to outmaneuver and destroy the opposing team's machinery.

Tournament Mode
Pre-defined, bracket-style matches to crown an ultimate champion. Supports up to 12 participants per hour and is recommended for ages 9 to 99. Requires participant names ahead of time.
For small groups of older kids (12+) or serious technical adults looking for an intensive team-building event, we offer multi-hour and multi-day engineering challenges.
Unlike the Robot Rumbles, you keep the robot you build.All classes include instruction, tools, necessary materials, workspace, and a final private systems test battle in the arena against your build-mates.
Plus, every Build & Battle participant receives free entry to a future Flatline Robotics or Panther City Robotics open competition!

How to Secure Your Operation
Currently, all Flatline Robotics events are handled through a high-touch manual coordination process to ensure your site can safely accommodate our heavy-duty arena.

Initial Recon
Contact us via the form or email. We'll discuss your date, expected participant count, and venue type (indoor/outdoor).

Site Approval & Deposit
Once the site logistics are confirmed (14'x12' clear space), a 50% deposit is required to lock your date into the battle calendar.

Final Deployment
48 hours before the event, provide final headcount. Our crew arrives 60 minutes early for arena setup and systems check.

Deployment Requirements & Logistics
Prices assume classes are held at your venue (additional fees may apply for mobile workshops). To safely set up our arena at your location, please review our site requirements:
Space
We require level ground and a minimum of 14'x12'of open space.
Access
The gameplay area must be restricted to 3-sided access only(no full 360-degree access).
Environment
We can operate indoors or outdoors (we have a canopy available). For outdoor events, the temperature must be between 40-100°F.
Power
Access to electrical outlets is preferred, but not strictly required.
Booking Terms
A 50% deposit is due upon booking, with final headcount numbers due 48 hours before the event.
Cancellation Policy
For outdoor weather events on the day of the party, you may reschedule or forfeit half of your deposit; all other cancellations result in a forfeited deposit.
